“School is Cool” is a Joint Action (Socrates – Leonardo – Youth) project that concerns a multilateral endeavour that involves organisations from EU member states active in different environments (education, training, civil society, culture, etc.), a variety of institutions (schools, local authorities, associations, partners, youth centres, training centres, NGO’s, etc.) and persons of various ages, capacities and backgrounds (teachers, animators, youth workers, parents, grandparents, students, pupils, civilians, etc.) from European Union countries.
The target is to create an educational game/toolbox for young adults to teach them different aspects of living and working in the European Union. Each local partnership will select a theme and will involve if possible different educational and civil environments. The role of the young people in the local partnership is vital. They are involved as much as possible, as the content of the educational game/toolbox must tailor to the young people needs and aspirations. The young people’s involvement will result in offering them space to participate in the production of a learning tool for the younger ones.
